Ground them to the chassis.

But I wouldnt wire them to the remote wire unless you use a relay.

Give em their own dedicated switch.

I would take that remote out of the fuse box too.

What fuse is it?

You should give any accessories that you add on, its own dedicated fuse and switch. The amps can just be wired to the head unit's remote wire. If you have a factory head unit. Run your own power wire from the battery of master power through a switch.

oh really? i thought i could just run the remote to a fuse in my fuse box such as the powerwindows fuse. it hasnt caused any problem yet but i have a alpine head unit< i guess i could just wire it to that. could i run the led to the kinetik batt that i have in the back with a switch on it?

yeah, if you can go to the battery that will work really good.

Then just ground to the metal of the car.

You may not have had any problems, but its not the best thing to do, especially if you plan on adding amps. And sometimes you can have turn on pop if the amps are turned on/off with ignition or something.
