anyone know how to fix this? i bought some of the blue magic stuff from advance and it worked ok. it said i could use 2000 grit paper but i havnt done it yet. Any more suggestions to get the stuff off?

sand, sand, sand......then buff until you can no longer lift your arms :)

i have dones this many, many times and it has always worked perfectly.

dry sand with 800 grit all over the headlight.

then, wet sand with 1,000 all over. then rinse the light to remove the dust.

wet sand with 1,500 grit. again rinse the headlight.

wet sand with 2,000 grit. rinse the headlight again

then use 0000 steel wool or 4,000 grit paper. if you use the steel wool use it dry, is you use the paper wet sand it.

then get some 3m light duty rubbing compound and buff at around 1000-1200 rpms.

after you do that it will be clear and looking like new. i usually use mothers sealer/wax after i wash the entire car just to prevent some stuff from sticing to the light and help with scrath's

ill prolly see if i cant get anything else from what i bought. if not then ill try the sanding then the meguires stuff. i gotta get that crap off though. it looks bad
