Moore941
Ok so i just put my new system in and when i wired everything in i put in an HC800 in the back and also did the big 3 upgrade but am still seeing dips in voltage down to from 14.2-11.6 at 2000 rpms, do i need a Bigger battery, or Bigger battery and alt? cuz im only running my 1400.1 at 1 ohm and i didnt expect voltage dips like that from a smaller amp like this. Bunker
I was having the same problem 2 weeks ago so I had the battery tested and it came back fine but I knew something wasn't right so I pulled everything out and started over and it still done the same thing then I changed the front battery out for a kinetik HC1400 and after that it doesn't drop below 13.3 but at this time its hard to tell since I fried my good amp but that worked for me. Moore941
do you know the draw on the amp and what the alt puts out Idk what the amp draws i imagine either a little over or close to 100 amps at full tilt, and my stock alt is 120 amps iirc Quote 2000 White Dodge Durango 5.9L Flowmaster 40 Series through 2 1/2" with and open cat. 1 Dc lvl5 18 4 6.5 seleniums and 2 D200 Selenium Horns on Rockford 500.2 Big three upgrade and a kinetik HC1800 in the back with all 1/0g knu wire shootin for 145+
