uhoh_45 Posted April 13, 2009 Report Share Posted April 13, 2009 anyone know any info on this amp i bought one off my buddy he had it layin around and the back of it i cant read anything on it this amp im really just looking to see how the crossover chip works and how to wire my tweeters 3 single 4 ohm tweets would this amp handle a 1.34 ohm load? or should i go with the 12 ohm load R.I.P! I'll dig it out tomorrow to make sure but I belive it 15W or 30W rms X2 at 4ohm,but I'm not sure. I tried to run some alpine Type S full range speakers but, I could only get about 20 minutes before it would overheat and turn off. I'll post a picture of ratings on back tomorrow. It sounded good and I'm pretty sure it would run some tweets with ease. I'll do it tomorrow cause its kinda buried. It's all gone! cc_audio Posted April 13, 2009 Report Share Posted April 13, 2009 Sorry, I lied to you. I have a 2300X, which is 30Wx2 at 2ohm. Well, the old school amps were pretty tough. All I can say is try it. Mine does not have a crossover chip like yours so i can't really help. I'll bet it could handle 1.3 ohms, but you'd have to keep it cool.
