pokertramp
I am going to run 2 sets of Phoenix Gold RSD6.5 components in my car. I am having a hard time selecting an amp for under $250. Also when it comes to High pass and low pass filter does that really even matter? If I have the crossover with the components then on the amp I would set the crossover to full range, right? It depends how you have the crossover set up. If you Bi-amp it, then you can run high pass for the tweets and either full or low depending on the woofs. If you don't wanna go that route, then full pass will be the way to go. I'm sure if you posted a WTB ad on the forum, somebody would get you one for the cheap. I just sold my last 'extra' otherwise I'd offer it! Need an install? Hit me up.[email protected]Got car audio questions? Boon
I still run a HPF on my fronts even when using the passive crossovers. Usually around 80hz, any notes below that will thrash the crap out of a 6.5" component IMO 10.x volts fo' life!
