kingsuv
I was in a pinch and needed some 4g for this weekend. It ended up being 1.42 a foot. Quote Designing, building, and shipping boxes. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.

Sable Nave
SORRY, FORGOT PICS, BUT I'LL DO IT TODAY, i PROMISE.sry for caps too. Also, I called a local auto sound place today, and discovered that 1/0 is no cheaper than $12/ft unless I use welding cable..... then it's $3.49. So I didn't get as ripped off as everyone thinks I did. Yeah, you still did. Just use the welding cable, same as "normal" wire Quote Car 1996 Sable LS 8,000K Bi-Xenon HID's Pioneer Premier DEX-P1R Diamond Audio D351, Diamond Audio D362i, Diamond D3TAK off Kicker ZX200.4 Custom 15" 13w7 motor, 3.5" aluminum coils dual 1 ohm off NV-AM25001 Dynamat Dynaliner Second Skin Damplifier Pro Stock 130A Alternator My Build Truck 1995 Ford F-150 Flareside XLT 10,000K Bi-Xenon HID's, 15,000K Bi-Xenon HID's Kicker KS6502, KS400 off Pioneer Premier PRS-D4100F Truck Build Ref(s) Rogers, Jared, Mikesmith0890, Twigz, DHFHades, BASS14, Solo_X18, mrafrica, camino_1to3, kickerassman [speakerman9000] 5:43 pm: if sony sucks so bad how come my amps still work when i had 3 12s on it [capalass23] 11:27 pm: wow u grand man poopin out babys like hto cakes [KevinniveK] can u have sex later please hes helping me

BigJohnny
not really, I use a super sharp olfa knife to do my stripping with anyway...... do a circle right around the wire, fold back, repeat Im considering whipping up some kind of jacket or connector, and using some of this for power wire, the inner core can handle power, the outer shield could simple be grounded..... maybe help keep interference down? I'm willing to bet that someone, somewhere makes a terminal or tip that will work like that.
BigJohnny
looks like 8 gauge with shielding around it to make it look alot bigger than it actually is its not, the actual inner core is even larger than regular 4awg. I compared them side by side... this is ever so slightly larger where it counts.
RamenNoodles
You dont need to ground power wire fyi. As long as you have a solid positive and negative connection you are fine. Those little strands around the outside dont need to be fucked with. Only thing they are good for is the trash imo. Grounding would have only been because maybe it would stop some interference from getting OUT lol. Anyway, probably what I would end up doing is just stripping the ends, and crimp/solder the shielding with the core so it carries power as well. lanman31337
The only thing I can think of is for a little bit of structural for that outer layer. I wouldn't put any power to it at all.
