as I recall, and the details are a little foggy here, so please look into it, but you don't have to pay for your impounded car if you don't give them your details, and your not required at all to give them your name and shit. There is a way to prove the car is yours without giving them details and having to pay. seriously look into it, cause I know the law exists, just not sure of exact details, but you do not have to pay to retrieve your impounded car.

couldn't agree more... it has it's uses, but there should be limits, like max 6mos - 1yr or something. I was on welfare when I first moved out with my gf. I got her pregnant, she had to live in a group home, so we had to move in together when my daughter was born, and I couldn't find a job. But I did, I was on welfare for 2 years, hated every min of it and worked my ass off to get things straightened away. Finally got a job and have been working ever since. I live in a shitty neighbourhood, the "projects" across the street from me is full of low life scum who leech off the system, neglect their kids, drink, party, and buy fancy clothes for themselves.... why the fuck should my tax money be paying them?? I should be allowed choose what demographic gets my cut of the taxes, cause I sure as hell wouldn't give it to those assholes.

heres one for you, and I damn near started some shit with this guy, I'm sitting behind this dick at a stoplight, the light goes green and he just sits there. the fuckin douche is on his phone, and this INFURIATES me, so I honk my horn, then the mother fucker gives me the finger for honking as his dumbass sits at the light. Then I pull up next to him at a stop sign further down the road, and he gives me the finger again.... I swear man, I was ready to follow this guy and literally land my ass in jail again.

well thats what I was going to do, I mean how do I mount it safely, not wire it up. its a solid exposed piece of metal that will be connected to a high current cable.... I don't want that coming loose and hitting something. I'm thinking I might be able to just bolt it directly onto the alternators terminal post, and connect my wire from there to the battery.

ya, I'm really considering telling this guy to go stick it, when he originally contacted me he was going on like I stole it saying I didn't own it.......well, I didn't "Own" it, But I didn't know that when someone else bought it, they would be charged rental fees......not really my problem though. a smart person would figure out that if it was left behind by a tech, then clearly I didn't "own" it.... why would they pick up something thats mine.

long story short, I had a Rogers PVR that was left behind by a tech when they disconnected my stuff. I've had it in my posession for over a year, and it has been paid for by the tech who left it behind. There were many attempts at contacting that tech, but in the end, he never ended up coming over to get the PVR. A couple of weeks ago I had sold it on kijiji. The ad clearly said "rogers explorer 8300 PVR" word for word. the story was explained, and the unit is able to be added to someones account it's been looked into, and is legit. well I don't have a HD tv, but was told by rogers that it was a HD box, and was paying HD box prices for it. The guy who bought it simply said he wanted it, asked no questions, and the transaction was made. I shipped it out to him, and he received it saying it's not the HD box. They have a SD and HD version of the box, and this was the SD unit. Now he has managed to look me up, and call me (which I didn't answer) and has now sent me a money request through paypal for his money back. I didn't rip the guy off, the unit wasn't mis-advertised, and I was unaware of their being two different versions. So what should I do? I don't have the money to give it back, I paid my bills. I don't think I should give him his money back since i don't feel I did anything wrong.
