Yes with my meter I show a 156.3 db I have a USACi comp Sunday Apr 26th will take vid of meter. Oh someone asked how these subs like lows, Yeah, Soundstream loves the lows. At first had box tuned to 52hz and subs fell flat on face in sound, retuned to 39 and they came unglued. SOUNDSTREAM LOVES THE LOWS. bjfails Posted April 22, 2009 Author Report Posted April 22, 2009 Ok, somethin never seen before. When I first completed the system I was finding my peak SPL around 49hz was hitting around 156.3. Let system run for about 3-4 days then started noticing it was getting quieter? So I rechecked it with my 47-50 hz range sweep and yes I did drop to 153.7? HUH? Couldn't belive this from nothing changing but subs running. So just for kicks I ran a sine sweep from 70-30 hz on a 20 sec duration and found my peak SPL has now changed to 57 hz, from 49 hz, and still hittin 156 db? The only thing I can guess is the subs loosening up changed peak Freq, but by 8 hz? Anyone else seen this with their subs?
