If this is true then why dont we all do it? What are the pros and cons of it... I drive an envoy xl and for now i have my subs and port faceing towards the rear. sold everything
audiofanaticz Posted April 20, 2009 Report Posted April 20, 2009 sub and port up may sound worse then now. Sub up and port back is almost always louder in a suv. But chances are your sub and port back will be louder then sub and port up, but not louder then sub up port back which you will need to build a new box to do.

For example I really love the sound of a downfiring setup in an extended cab truck, vs an upfiring. It's just something you gotta experiment with. CERTIFIED BITCHES!!!
