15VmaxXL
Ive been told once or twice that if i down fired my subs it would sound better then faceing them up.. If this is true then why dont we all do it? What are the pros and cons of it... I drive an envoy xl and for now i have my subs and port faceing towards the rear. sold everything
audiofanaticz
sub and port up may sound worse then now. Sub up and port back is almost always louder in a suv. But chances are your sub and port back will be louder then sub and port up, but not louder then sub up port back which you will need to build a new box to do. The Performer
It really depends on the vehicle and type of sound you prefer. For example I really love the sound of a downfiring setup in an extended cab truck, vs an upfiring. It's just something you gotta experiment with. CERTIFIED BITCHES!!! Not being new at something doesn't mean anything. Just because a prostitute isn't new at what she does, doesn't change the fact that she still 'sucks' Click to see my build!
