t-money
you're pioneer prolly had 4 volt preouts and you had a lower model alpine with 2 volts. right? ok well i just double checked. the guy told me when i got the alpine it was 4 volt. it was only 2. that explains everything. i didnt know alot about alpine at the time Edited April 21, 2009 by t-money Quote 2002 ford focus hatch pioneer DEH-P8400bh infinity kappa 6.5 components front and rear XS Power D1200 Shuriken BT-100 audioque 120.4 2 15 inch audioque HDC3 D2 2 audioque 2200d big 3 mechman 220a alt with external regulator 479-418-3056
Mikesmith0890
Pioneer makes some pretty good decks for the money, but i'll never stray from Alpine in the near future, atleast not the older model alpines Quote AlphaDamp Sound Deadening CDL Mat - The best Vibration Damper Ever! The Performer
fyi difference is alpine and such have a 2db volume gain knob vs the 1db in pioneers :01nocomment8so: aren't most alpines 2v? they dont get to 4v until you really break the bank Yeah alot of the newer models after 07 I've seen most of them run 4v outputs, however I've metered mine and it's been in the 5v range at optimum volume level. To the poster that said 24 on the alpine volume level. Supposedly what I've heard from MANY alpine dealers is they've also noticed the newer alpines like my 9887 that volume level 22-24 is a sweetspot where every aspect of the output is perfect. About pioneers having a 1db scale at each level of volume, I'd believe more of a 1/2 db scale with as many levels of volume they have. The higher premiere models of pioneers are damn nice, but the lower models just piss me off. :censored: Quote CERTIFIED BITCHES!!! Not being new at something doesn't mean anything. emperorjj1
lol 3100 and above is where its really at. even then pioneer doesnt hit 4v till the 4100. the 11e,1100 and 2100 are pretty retarted. kenwood has the cheap deck market fucking cornered. the 138 and 142 cant be beat for the price. period how all did you meter it? i havent seen very high voltages metering the rca outputs on VAC Quote J.
