So I'm having a problem with my amp shutting off and high volume with the bass knob turned up also. Whats happens is the amp will just shut off on off on off on but never blows a fuse or fully goes into protection mode.

I have checked my remote turn-on voltage and thats good. Its at like 12.7volts but my voltage at the amp and the battery is 13.8volts... is that maybe having to do with why the amp is shutting off?

My equipment that I have is a kenwood 9104D mono block thats rated at 900RMS 2ohm stable and my woofer is a RE AUDIO SE12 wired at 2ohms and that woofer supposably is rated at 600RMS.

confused on whats going on with everything, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Check your voltage at the amp's power and remote terminals while you're bumping. Had a friend who was all good until the bass hit, then the voltage would drop like 1v, they had a problem with the remote so it would drop from ~12v to ~11v and his amp would turn off. Use a sine wave to test it or the voltage will be all over the place.

Im gonna have to say its the amp cutting off cause of low voltage. Might not show protect but its protecting itself. Doesnt have ot blow a fuse unless it has a major issue from exccessive voltage loss over time.
