bobonit
After glassing the inside of an enclosure or making kick pods, how long does it take for the resin odor to subside? Or will my car smell like a boat yard after its installed? 97 Maxima SE Bunch of shit going in, check out the build Build Log
Nightshade
Give it a couple of weeks. It can still smell a long time after that if your pounding on the subs and the resin smell is pushed out of the box since it's ported. I just had that the other day when I was giving a demo. I beat on the subs for a couple of minutes and you could smell resin. My box had been finished for almost 2 months now. 2013 VW Jetta GLI 2.0 Turbo 1 Sundown Audio SCV2000 1 Sundown Audio X15 V2 1 XS Power D3100 Audio Control LC6i Stock Deck 146.4 sealed on the dash at 37hz 2001 Focus ZX3: RETIRED Team Sundown Audio, Team XS Power, 2 time NSPL Car 3601-Up Champion, 2 time NSPL Car Hardcore ChampionHighest NSPL Scores to date:154.3db on the dash sealed at 46hz, 156.2db in the kick at 46hz155.2db unofficial on dash at 43hz

Colin - STAPUFT
My brother isn't into audio and I was giving him a demo once and he asked me- "How come it always smells like RESIN in here?!?" I kinda likes it too. 12 - 12"s in the STAY PUFT 1989 Chevy Astro Build & Comment Log Un-Interrupted Build LogYouTube Channel Chevy Trailblazer 5.1 Dolby Digital DTS Install You have a beard of a mysterious sea captain.
