Seeing as he has stock electrical, wont be as power intensive going with 550Watts instead of 2,000 watts, it'll pound, go low, and sound good. Just gotta use a bunch of sound dampening! ChiTownTBird312 Posted April 24, 2009 Report Share Posted April 24, 2009 do you think it would be smart to let a shop here in town do the work? because i was just planning on buying the stuff and letting them do the work. do it yourself....plenty of help here if you run into any problems at all. but as far as the 2 15's or 1 18....i dont think you really need them. start off "small". if your stuck on subs such as the ones you listed maybe start with 2 12's(btls, mayhems, xcons....etc) and run at least rms. im sure you would be satisfied with them.
