96 Tacoma
we threw a crossfire 600 in my boys truck that i just pulled out of mine hooked it up to the 8 guage and it worked, threw in some 4 guage and when we tried to put in the fuse it pops instantly, there isnt and shorts as far as we know, looked like a nice light show but i dont know why it would be pulling so much current. we didnt have the fuse in i hooked up the groung then remote and then pwer and whenever the power touched with no fuse or connecction at the battery the amp would light up red for a second 03 Ram 1500 3.7 v6 quad cab H/U: Pioneer 4200UB Subs: 4 DC LVL 4 15s D1 Sub Amp: 2 Crescendo 3kwp strapped Highs Amp: Crossfire xp240.2 Highs: Crossfire 2 rs69, 2 rs52 Alt: DC POWER ALT 270XP Batts: 5 sprinter data safe Big 3 0ga New Truck 03 Ram Build Log 6 DC Audio lvl2 15's My Wrecked 99 Dodge Ram Sport Build Log 02 Ranger X Cab Build 02 Ranger Build 2 http://www.dcsoundlab.com/ My linkhttp://www.crescendoaudio.com http://www.dcpowerinc.com/ http://www.crossfirecaraudio.com/ Youtube Vids

lanman31337
Is there wire touching chassis or the amp at all? Even a strand or two could cause it to freak out like that. 2 - Audiopipe AP30001Ds 1 - Lanzar Opti Scion 600.4 4 - Lanzar Optidrive 1232D's 1 - Lanzar Opti 5.1 1 - Lanzar Opti 6.1 1 - Lanzar Opti 6C midbass 1 - Alphasonic PCT6551 1 - Lanzar VX830 1 - JBL 22 band EQ 1 - Lanzar SDBT75NU 1 - AudioControl Epic160

crf450r4u2nv
unhook the power wire at both ends. and check with ohm meter to ground. if you have 0 ohms or anything under 1000 ohms you have a short to ground somewhere in that power wire. sounds like the problem since you hooked up the power wire without fuse and it lit for a sec that would probibaly be it either draining the caps in the amp to the short or it pulling power from the remote line. also when you hook up fuse it blew from the other side of the short. I'll bet the amp didn't even fliker. defenetly get a dmm out and check those ohms . good luck 2000 explorer xlt cda-9887 with imprint ktx-100 + ipod120 mechman rhino 250 alt with xs-power d3400 + d3100 id oems - Dayton RS52AN-8 2" Dome Midrange hat L1 PRO - 1 x fi Q15 d2 non-bp with 3.8 cuft net 60 sq inch L-port tuned to 28 hz - sub up , port back 2 x sax 100.4d - 2 x saz1500d - second skin damplifier 80 ft and a btl soon
