cc_audio
I'll start with a link to the fraction of the setups thats been in this car. http://www.youtube.com/user/kickersolox Anyway, I'm going all out on this build. Car is getting butched for more bass. Equipment going in is RF T40001bd(under question), Ground Zero 4hp motor reconed by T3 audio(under works now), Kinetik HC1400(under hood) HC1800 &HC2400 in trunk, 170 amp rewound alt by Ace Alternators, two runs of 1/0 -&+ to rear. This is just a quick start to a long and slow build. I will be sure to take many pictures. Comments will definately help keep me chuggin. Here's some pics of the sub as it sits And heres the build. And it begins... Trunk is stripped of system. Not much room here. Here's the ride height before shot just for reference later. Here's the trunk stripped completely naked. If I could just find a place for the batteries... Stole this idea from Pioneer~Saturn Nice and flat! Tons more room now. It's all gone! cc_audio
Backseat is nearly gone. Left one seat back to check clearance for strut brace later. Most of the rear deck will be cut out. Even the strut support. I'll have to fabricate my own out of square. Should be fun. Made a place to run wire without interfering with box. Good ol rubberized undercoating Just barely cleared gas tank, brake lines, and sway bar. The pile of shit that came out of my car. Couple sheets of MDF layin around, ya know. Some new toys!!! Thats a pocket hole jig, also stole this idea from Pioneer~Saturn. They are a must for building in the car where you can't reach with the nailer or turn to screw. Also got some allthread for it as well. By the way, Titebond mouding and trim is the best glue by far to use when working with MDF. If you don't believe me try it. If you have one better tell me, I'll try it. Its good shit. Not a bad start for four hours work with breaks. I'm really pumped. Anyone have any ideas for me? It's all gone! cc_audio
Sorry guys but thats an 18" sub. What your trying to say is THAT MAGNET IS HUGE! Yeah, I know. The mag came off a Ground Zero 15" Plutonium which shared the same motor as their Ground Zero 18" Plutonium. This is the same motor that used to be on the 18" TC Sounds LMS-5400 and I believe the T3 TSNS still uses this motor. Its 10.1" across the magnet. It weigh 106ibs on a step on scale. It's big. Will resume working on battery rack tonight hopefully. It's all gone! The Celica Build Feedback If I buy something from you, DO NOT USE FEDEX!
