Soulman07 Posted May 11, 2009 Report Share Posted May 11, 2009 (edited) It might do 300RMS at 4ohms, boss really isn't known for putting out major watts senor. I owned a 4 channel once that said it was bridgeable for 200RMS @ 4 and the a6450 that I own now is only 70x6 @ 4 and the power output almost doubled to my ear. A ton cleaner too. Spend a few extra bucks keep a smile on your face! Infinity makes decent reference amps that put out a bit of TRUE power at 4ohms. I owned a reference 475a.... it was a mini beast. Only cost me about 130 bucks too! My buddy had a sony xplode amp pushing his Pioneer sub. His pioneer amp shit itself, which caused the switch. We set the gains to what the amp said it puts out RMS and it sounded like SHIT, had to turn it WAY down to make it sound good.
