Also, speaking of Einstein...I am not a super genius or anything, but to think that nothing can go faster than the speed of light is silly. he didn't exactly say nothing, he said no known particle...he was smart enough to leave room for the unknown. He did however say that no known particle could go faster, since that would break the dimensional barrier, which would basically cause it to cease existence. littleitaly1990 Posted June 13, 2009 Report Share Posted June 13, 2009 Well the Large Hadron Collider will make particles go close to the speed of light.CERN will collide particles which will cause other particles to move the speed of light (light will be emitted) but the actual accelerator wont move the particles this quickly. However, colliding particles at this speed has never been done before, and the results will be incredible to say the least. Expect big changes in how we view the physical world once the CERN experiments make leeway. A vitrolic, megalomaniacal sadistic psychopath.
