Derrick824
I'm looking at buying a new computer and I'm hung up on which processor to get. Its either the Pentium® D Processor 915 with Dual Core Technology (2.8GHz, 800FSB) or the Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor E6300 (1.86GHz, 1066 FSB) which is $150 more. How much better is the second than the first and is it worth the $150 extra? Thanks.
Amalan
honestly depends on what youre gonna do the second is worth the 150 extra it will be faster than the first. but if you really dont need the excess speed if youre only gonna use the comp to surf the web and listen to music then i dont think youll really be able to tell a difference. if youre a gamer on the other hand id go with the second one. AI James
if you have the 150 to spend stay away form the pentium D, you dont wanna deal with a old processor when everythings changing again and if something happens with that one its a pain to get motherboards and stuff for older comp stuff
