what kind of a router bit would i use to cut holes?

24pm3xe.jpg

im taking out my passenger seat, battery is disconnected, going to unwire and take out the three amps, take out the 70+ lb box, then the platform so i can crimp 1 wire.

Almost as bad as those fegs that put those horns in their grills and roll down the street distorting the block....

Go grab yourself a Rotozip general purpose bit. you can get them at home depot or similar.... looks like a drill bit, but its not as short as the ones pointed out above.

Either this Tracing XBIT™

XB-MPGP2

OR

Sabrecut™ Bit

SC5

good bits, however, go slow, make sure there is 1/4" of shaft between the spiral, and the collet for cooling or the bit will heat up and break. Also, don't force it let the bit do the cutting and I forget which way you need to move the tool, but if you go one way it will be hard to get it to cut, going the other way will make it easy but you need counter the pull of the bit or it will pull you way off course..... I think you want to cut from right to left, or counter clockwise..... I can't quite remember, it's been a while since I cut holes with my Spinsaw.

you go the same way as the bit if its upwards and opisite if its downward i believe.

i have a lowes, a sears, and an ace.

should i check them all or one specific? i didnt see any at lowes but i wasnt looking for this kind of bit.
