sean 371
Okay, so it's been a while coming, but parts are starting to come together, and I'll be doing the box build and install fairly soon, starting possibly tomorrow. Parts list so far: 1 RFt10001bd 2 12L5's (06 model) All KnuKonceptz Wiring (1/0 kolossus wire, which is actually 2/0.) Here's a quick rendering of the box build. (didnt bother with the other side, but you get the idea.) Separate chambers, 39.75 inches of port per sub, 14 inches long. Went with kicker's specs on this one. Lemme know what you think guys! Edit: New pics (3/6/07) Started the box tonight. Couldn't get too far because I ran out of wood and had to make a HD run, but here's what I got so far: Bottom wall (All cuts were made freehand with a circular saw) Bottom, back, and right side First 45 in: More to come, I have more done, just gotta snap some more pictures. Any feedback is welcome. Edit #2: More new pics from today (3/6) Chamber divider in: Second 45 in (2 more to go on this side), Started caulking, First baffle on: Port wall in and leading edge rounded off: Now it's time to smooth some things out on the right side, cut/put in the last 2 45's, and move on to the left! A couple links to some box builds: Tahoe Box 1, Tahoe Box 2, Nissan Titan, VW GTI, Mini-Bump, Hummer H2, Ford F-150 My own car builds (current setup --- under construction): Overall Thread, Kickpods, Dash, Back Doors Subwoofer Wall

LSN2meBoom916
Looks like a good design, only parts missing are the now standard "Meade 45's" or other form of corner 45's in wood/FG/Duraglass/etc. But the air flow to/thru the port will be better if you do 45's on the corners. Hmm, I do have about a half gallon of resin lyin around...MDF 45's with fiberglass over it perhaps. I gotta do this whole school thing for the next 7 hours, but I'll start building after that. Pics up soon. Edit: more pics! sean 371
Edit: Changed my mind on the amp rack, I'm gonna mount them on the back of the box instead. They fit almost perfectly.
