Buss Bar Build Log Tutorial Type Thing

I didnt like how i had to stack all of my terminals onto one bolt with the D3100 so I got started on some buss bars to kind of clean it up..

Right now just 1/2x1 1/2x6" 6061 aluminum but these are "prototypes" for the copper ones.

Using extra ring terminals to measure where to drill

Got the hole for the d3100 terminal

All holes tapped for a 1/4-20 bolt. Its what I had plenty of in the garage so I used em

How it was with all the terminals on the single posts

Remove the connections and bolt the buss bar down

Then just bolt all of your connections on

Repeat for other terminal

They're not very pretty but they serve their purpose for now. When i get the copper i will cut the wires to length and resolder them.

it looked cleaner b4 the buss bars...but once they wires are cut down and some better looking screws are used then it should look good

Yeah it will be cleaner looking when im completely done but I just didnt like having them all stacked.. I just like the idea of using bus bars for some reason..

staggering the holes would make more room for the terminals. I see the grounds got a little tight.
