basshead
my uncle owns a wrecker service and his flat beds work off of a hydaulic pump that is hooked up to his tranny so to build the pressure up to move the bed he has a switch to raise his rpm's up tp 2300 he told me that the switch plugged into the cruise control module or something along thoes lines anyway his trucks are all GM 93-97 and he told me that i could do the same with my 93 burb he is currently checking with a company to see how much it will cost me cuz he bought all of his trucks with this feature already installed BUT he is certain that i can do the same with mt truck he just doesnt know an exact price so when i find out i will let yall know cuz i hate the idea of a wooden block under my pedal or a long metal bar to the pedal thats just too tacky in my opinion plus im lazy i just wanna press a button Edited March 8, 2007 by basshead
BassJunkie
You need like what some the diesel trucks have, the accessory thing where you set the rpm's at a certain spot and it will stay there until you push the button again. Dunno if they make that for gas though You need like what some the diesel trucks have, the accessory thing where you set the rpm's at a certain spot and it will stay there until you push the button again. BassJunkie
I figured they had one for gas, the button one is the one I was talking about, acts as if a small engine governor, the motor rpm's drop, it ups the gas to get them back up.
