See, I was thinking that using 2 of these would be good for 4 18" BLs. Do you still have the other MD3D to purchase? Im still in the "idea" phase of this upgrade. AI James Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 id run md3s over audiopipes all day. yea i still have the md3, and a md43 unused, i kinda feel bad because i have them for sale telling you not to get the audiopipes over them. but in all honesty i dont care if they sell or not, hence why i havnt made a post on here that i have them for sale. audiopipe isnt horrible, it just sure the hell isnt a merlin amp. if your happy with how your 1 is doing on 2bls then i dont see a reason why not double up. if not then look at a better amp then the audiopipe. imo the audiopipe is just somethign thats cheap and gets people by that dont really wanna spend money on somethign of better quality. Also the 1500 units ive messed with havent done rated they were in the 1200 range and imo its not worth the money to switch over to somethign else for the minute difference in wattage that you may get. a brand new in box md3 (mine) for 350 plus shipping or buy 2 audiopipes for whatever they cost and hope you like the result. ive tryed to be as unbiased as possible with my reasoning but i dont think ive succeeded
