thehoe92
it depends on the sound quality of the sub as well. I am tuned around 31hz in my Tahoe with 1 18" and because of cabin rise my loudest note is around 39-41hz. I can get low enough to feel the note in Wet Dolphin C&S. Higher notes don't sound to pleasing but I can play a variety of different music. My favorite that sounds really nice is Earth, Wind & Fire type stuff or some Marvin Gaye. Kicks are nice and solid and the bass in the background is not overwhelming. Any where within 30-32hz with a nice sounding sub will give you a good response IMO. Torres
Where did you get that box calc program from?me the link to it is in my sig id do like 34-38 i heard 37 hrz yesterday on music and it sounded way better musicaly and louder than my 32. most hip hop isnt all this low bs x2. a lot of music is in the upper 30's to 40's. i usually tuned low, but i'm tuning mid 30's on this next box. you'll be happy with anything in the mid 30's most likely. my last box was tuned to 30 hz and it was ok, but i'm going a lil higher. 30 is prettttty low to tune
Kicker Guy
40hz. Make the box more efficient and let cabin gain take care of everything below x10 My last wall was tuned to 30 and was ok, this one is 36 or 37 and my lows are just as good but upper end is nice also.
