Blue
I myself am running a pionner shallow right now. I like the way it sounds, and get loud for a shallow mount. I have it in a 1 cube box tuned to 30 hz. shakes my truck up. The only thing is, is that it has a Fs of 55. It should be used as a mid bass, but it doesn't do bad on low notes. Here is a video of it in my old box. I dont know how to film stuff, sorry in advance name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344">"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"> Edited May 29, 2009 by blue86f150 Quote formerly known as Blue86f150 its a 4th order just because its tuned in the 40z doesnt mean it wont reach down and jiggle your balls at sub 30 hz frequencies. BanginOnABudget
those shallow pioneers are slimmed down, slightly weaker versions of thier 3000 watt spl subs, hella good buy, but i would say buy whatever you have room for, asfar as a box. plan ur box first, and see what you CAN do, so you have a better idea. Quote im taking out my passenger seat, battery is disconnected, going to unwire and take out the three amps, take out the 70+ lb box, then the platform so i can crimp 1 wire. Almost as bad as those fegs that put those horns in their grills and roll down the street distorting the block.... 1990 Jeep Cherokee 2 Dr. Big-3 in 0g on Stock Alt. BanginOnABudget
well two of those pioneers would be a 2 ohm load if you put em on one set of wires, so you wouldnt need much power. i would say go for 2 of them.
