Torres Posted May 31, 2009 Report Posted May 31, 2009 if you're just curious if it's ok to go from 1/0 to 4 gauge through a fuse holder, yeah it shouldnt hurt anything. just as long as you're fused properly.

enemyofsilence Posted May 31, 2009 Author Report Posted May 31, 2009 alright well the amp is a p1000-bd so it accepts up to 4 gauge. i have only one batt right now and its under the hood. i am going to fuse it 5 in. (approx) from the batt with 0/1 gauge wire. then i will connect the 0/1 gauge to another fuse holder in the back of my car (for the amp). after this fuse holder, i want to connect 4 gauge wire to the amp (approx 5 in or so). i just dont want anything to happen to the amp or batt. thanks Team Bass-Hz
