Yeah your high-bass will seriously lack impact tuning that low.

If you're gonna do it, low-pass it at 63hz or lower and you better have the midbass from hell.

I hardly ever heard of a song that hits 20hz. Really.

Tuning around 28hz is be the lowest i would go.

I just built a box that is 29 hz. The box I had before was 35-36 hz and I am debating if I should put it back in. My 29 hz box does't pick up highs nearly as much. It's a tossup. Lows are nice but you to have some serious power to really get loooow.

Tuning isn't everything....my old box was tuned at 31hz played 30hz-55hz extremely loud.....my new box is tuned at 38hz and it plays ~20hz and up to 60hz very loud.....with this box I can play with the whales....not many people believe that I am tuned at 38hz.

The last few boxes I have built I've ended up doing a free-space tuning of 40hz or higher. You put them in a car and load the subs and ports off the air in the car and a couple of surfaces and they'll play way below 'tuning' without a hitch and you get way better output because you have the freedom to use larger ports.

My DD9515 in a 3 cube box tuned to 42hz played 29hz very very loud, was just in a small car and loaded well off the roof...
