J00bles Posted June 1, 2009 Report Share Posted June 1, 2009 thats how my system is done in my tiny honda civic trunk. my sub faces up towards the roof of the trunk, while the port faces the rear of the trunk. subs up, port back. works really well imo, it just depends on the size of the instal. 1 15" is the biggest i can do space wise, personally. J00bles Posted June 1, 2009 Report Share Posted June 1, 2009 it sounds pretty good. my box is 12.5" tall, 25" wide, and 31.25" deep. i have it tuned to 37hz. it gets loud on highs and it still hits the lows really well. Deadener will be a must if he plans on enjoying the music quite a bit. i havnt started to use deadener yet, but my panels flex hard and so does my roof.
