i just got rid of 2 kicker compvr 12 in a downfire box in my extended cab gmc sierra and i have found a downfirebox made by subthump with 7 inches of mounting depth and .92 cf i would really like to get 2 l7 solobarics on a hifonics brutus but before i drop the cash i wanna know if its worth it or maybe something a bit cheaper and louder than the compvr's i had

l7s hit hard as hell, but square subs tend to have dirty bass, but i still am fond of kicker. If you want something cleaner, and the same price, go for DC lvl 4's or Fi Bls.....but l7s are still good =]

whyyyy? i have you guys heard what people have been saying about sealing up level 4's? not the greatest

and do you really thing a level 4 is gonna do good in under 1cf...? you guys stupid? in fact most 12's aren't gonna do good in under 1 cf.

.92cuft is very small. thats the recommended space for 1 10" normally.

The only way it would work is if it was a true solobaric design I guess in that amount of space.
