Rogers Posted June 4, 2009 Report Share Posted June 4, 2009 (edited) ok so im changing things up on the lumina.... im going from 4 10" alpine type s's to 4 12" type r's.... and ive got 2 different designs to choose from.... and im wondering which design would give me the best results... in a trunk... this first one is the same type of design that i did with the 10's its subs up ports back... for the type r's the first design is for 4 4" round ports the second design is a slotvented enclosure, subs up vent up.... the vent is 28.5" x 2" now in my saturn i always had better results with ports back but im wondering if the slotvent will kinda "outgun" the round ports back..... let me know what you think... I like that alignment but I'm a fan of one big port.
