ben29555 Posted June 14, 2009 Report Share Posted June 14, 2009 i got a 97 sonoma i hooked up the alpine deck in their it worked at first then later i tried it and i woulden't work so i took it out and tried to rewire it. still woldn't work so i took it out then replace the fuse and tired times after. still never worked. check the ignition power wires and ground they were both fine so if figured the deck was broke so today i went and bought a cheap quantum audio one hooked it up and it wont work ether. no idea why the stuff won't work please help My Build Log loud bass songs Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
devsmazduh Posted June 14, 2009 Report Share Posted June 14, 2009 may be a dumb question but, do you have good power going to your h.u? double check your ground. use a test light or dmm. like i said, uve probly already done so, just tryin to help a brudda out ill cut out yo eyelids and give ya nothin but sleeping pills... Jville140db Posted June 16, 2009 Report Share Posted June 16, 2009 just a silly question when you are checking your power are you using a test light or dmm because if your using a test light it may light up but you still may not have proper voltage is the factory harness still intact and does the radio not turn on at all or is it just no sound sometimes people confuse the two sounds like a blown fuse remember the factory fuse probably isn't rated as high as the new radio needs, check all your fuses not just the one labeled radio hope this helps.
