Is This Amp To Much?

Nova

Recommended Posts

I got an MTX Terminator amp for dirt cheap hoping I can run my 6x9's off it but I don't want to blow my speakers. It's 250 watt RMS on one channel so I'm assuming with both my speakers hooked up it should be around 125 RMS. I'm not an audio guy...Yet... so I'm not possitive if it splits in half or not. My speakers are 280 watt max and 80 watt RMS... Will I be alright running this?

Here's the amp.

stop making sense you'll kill the argument.

Earth, you feel me?

You aren't loud enough to be felt.

Well that is a monoblock.

Meant to drive 1 channel in mono

Not made for running highs

More like a small sub or whatnot

You need a 2ch stereo amp for your 6x9's
