After getting my windows tinted I figured it was time to get some rims, my boy Javed over at Valley Tire and Wheel on Marysville Blvd. hooked me up nice.

They're Versante 223, 20's on 245/35/20 Goodyear Eagle GT tires.....now I gotta paint my calipers and get some KYB AGX shocks so I can get my Gen 2 SSC lowering springs put on to tighten up the stance. I also have a Pace Car spoiler that needs to be sprayed and a front grill to put on that i've already sprayed but need to get a hold of some black vinyl like they use when they wrap cars so I can put that on the bumper where the grill goes to hide the white from shining through.

i just read through this whole thread and man, im very impressed, the time you take to get things perfect and your attention to detail is awesome. and thats a super clean monte you got there, itll look even better when you get it lowered

Thanks man, whenever I do something I try to do it the best I can. Next to go on is my front grill, i'm about to call up some shops and see if I can get my hands on that black vinyl. My grill has been modded and painted for over a year now, probably close to 2....I've been lagging!

I think you'll like 'em more in person, I know I did. I think I nutted a little bit when he cracked the box open for me yesterday. I'm gonna let him handle that appt w/my girl tomorrow and then I'll hit him up. I hope he does the right thing. We'll do the shocks and springs when one of us gets the tools we'd need to get it done. Oh yeah, I guess actually having the shocks to put on might help a little too

All that dirt and grime got taken off in my garage and I didn't use a drop of water. It left a pretty damn good shine too!

While I was cleaning it yesterday I noticed the paint had very little swirls, might not have to do a deep polish on it this spring. :yay:

Just 2 more mods and the exterior is done, gonna try to get one done by this weekend.
