I guess that means my 24 lv5s are soon to be ready? i hope to god thats true, A team! and thor, im guessing that you're getting some sort of piece for under the basket to allow more throw? and why not try a "deeper" basket? would that make the spider and surround landings fit incorrectly or something? Yes maybe it true the only question is who gets the #25 motor? i thikn hes gettin spacers to space the motor from the basket to get more throw as well Im not sure how you think spacing thw basket off the motor increases excursion? You still have the coil centered in the gap at the same height and the same limits on the spiders and surround. There is no gain i can see except for a deeper sub. To lengthen throw you'd need a longer former, taller basket, more surround etc... My hint is that I will no longer need a split baffle.
