I will have a Xstatic 4000 for the system and a X static 3000 for the main battery . do i hook the alternator( a 225 Amp) up to the main batt or to the stereo batt? Both batts are under the hood.(for now)
newls1 Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 as long as you connect both batts in parallel (Which you must) it wont matter which batt you connect the alt to. Power will be added to the entire loop. See what im saying. I have dual alts, so I have the 2 0/1ga power leads coming off each alt, and going to the front batt. I then have 2 runs of 0/1ga going to the rear batts. Grounds also...... I love my staffie So anti FACEBOOK it isn't even funny
