the website says this amp is stable at 2 ohm i only have one subwoofer and its wired up at 2 ohm and its hooked up to left channel positive and right channel negative which is how you do mono... because on amp it has chart for mono and points to those two...

the only reason the website says its 2Ohm stable is because it is 2 ohm stable when its not bridged

Team S.M.D.

Maritime Car Audio- (2) 18" SSA ZCON D1

- American Bass 500.1

- 60 ft of 3/0

-480 Ah of battery

- (2) stock alternators (70 +90)

- Kenwood Excelon x-794, 4v preouts

car audio is just a LOT more complicated than "this amp does this power" or "this sub will be this loud". its like 2 + 2 = banana. (if that confuses you then you get the point) lol

Damn, what's stuck up you're ass?(It's awsome not awosme.)

Hypnotic amps exist.

I don't really think it's good quality, and that you could get 1000W RMS out of that amp.

But it's better then the amp you got now.

I don't think it's worth spending money on that amp.

EDIt: i'm a slow typer.

Good catch. I dont see a price on their site so just wondering what the price is.

Car Audio + Bodyboarding/Longboarding = LIFE!!!

yea well i mean i have it hooked up mono not bridged... or is that the same thing? i only have one sub...

i was wanting to get it then keep the gain low...

that amp has enough fusing (50a) that can do about 500rms.

for your eclipse, mono is only supported to 4 ohms and stereo is supported to 2 ohms. running it mono on 2 ohms will add alot of distortion since the amp cannot handle that low of a load

should i just split the positive and negative coming from speaker into two and then put it back on stereo?

if the sub is a dual voice coil you can just wire each coil to each channel. running it in stereo.

then tune each channel to 200rms or so

or run one voice coil off right channel and one voice coil off the left channel?
