any tips for bondo?

thanks for all the replies. i was only gonna use bondo because i already have some that i bought a long time ago but never used. i cant seem to find any local shops that sell the body shop supplies. but i will keep looking.

beer sucks...but i can bring some jose cuervo. Only problem is that it makes me horny and gives me the rams. So unless yall wanna fight and then have some great make up sex i will leave it home.

is bondo absolutly no good? i ask because i already have it, but if not then i guess ill try something else. can the evercoat be bought at a auto parts store.

Works fine just requires more work in some cases but is generally cheaper.

I cant compare it to anything else first hand, but I've used bondo on several occasions with no ill-effects (door-pods, body work, pillers, sub boxes)

As have I and had no problems whatsoever....also I use Autobody Icing for my boxes aswell as a final coat on my pillars.....great stuff

^^ I have its sister Pro Glaze and I love that stuff...

personally, I hate bondo...I use a gallon of it as a big weight or stand for a project...it does well with that...

most likely, you will end up spending a little more for anything else (Evercoat, Rage gold, gold xtreme, etc.) but IMO, its much easier...its not really the fact that you cant get bondo flat, even, and without pinholes, its how long it takes and how much work you end up doing.

i appreciate eeryones input. i will have to use the bondo this time round though since times are hard and i already have the stuff. next time, maybe when i do my door pods i will try one of the products you guys suggested, but again thanks for the input.
