Build a full size box, with guessed size ports, or bolt able removable ports, and the wall the woofers are mounted to, build about a 6"- 8" lip around it, so it looks like a "I" beam from the side view The outside port of course the largest one, its a high tuned one, about double the inside port So, maybe 150sq port outside, no more than 75sq inch port inside Now the trick, start off with the baffle up as close as possible to the front port, document numbers, peaks, dips in cancellation, and move on drop back another 2" or so, and do the same for right now, your just using some drywall screws or whatever you use to assembly a box to mount the I beam lips to the inside of the box, just look for gains, not over all spl numbers when you find that sweet spot, bolt up, seal up, and fire away Quote I have a ritual called "terminator".
