banginAltima Posted July 3, 2009 Report Share Posted July 3, 2009 Sweeps don't work well imo. Everytime I did a sweep it would say 44 hz in my car. But going through the freq's 40 hz is the loudest. There is 1.4 db difference from 40 to 44. Try going from freq to freq and see which one is louder. If you build it, db's will come... Torres Posted July 4, 2009 Report Share Posted July 4, 2009 yes tune higher. if you're peaking at 27 hz, i'd tune to around the 40's if that trend were to continue. then you'd peak around mid 30's. maybe even tune in the mid to high 40's to peak around in the 40's (again, only if that trend were to continue with the peak:tuning difference).
