grizzleyadams69 Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 how many component sets would it prolly take to keep up with bass thats hitting low 150s. and what kinda wattage will i be lookin at? i really have close to no experience with mids and highs.
shainemcconnell Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 not real sure but I would think 2 - 3 sets with like 100-125 rms would be good...but then I have not really messed with the 150 range yet. 2010 IDBL Rookie 1 North American Champion 2009 IDBL Rookie 1 Fl State Champion 2009 EBB Fly Weight 3rd Place Fl State Finals 2006 Silver Grand Prix GXP :Diablo Audio Hellfire 1000.1, JL Audio 300/4, One 13W7, ZR650, VR690, JL Cleansweep setup. Team_DC-Derrick Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 mine kept up pretty well, and at 1 point i was doing 149s, actually, i didnt even have the power up half way for my components lol and my treble was -4 out of +15 The DC Integra 3 18s to 6 15 build log Team_DC-Derrick's Youtube Team DC Audio where theres a will theres a wall....... mr.p Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 until you step away from traditional coaxes and component sets you will not be able to have enough midbass to keep up with 150+ on music. I tried pretty damn hard and it just wasnt happening but ive got some good stuff in store now DCAUDIO BALLS DEEP
EricR Posted July 3, 2009 Report Posted July 3, 2009 so you're saying you're gonna be doing low 150's out of a trunk...pics? i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?
