that rd looks HUGE next to that level 4 xl.

Is there much of a sound difference between the two?

It is pretty huge..

But audibly they sound bout the same

flex = loss of enegery

get some dynamate or such on that headliner, or better yet pull it and cut/trim yourself a ton of 1"x2" pine that u can glass/epoxy to the back

I hope you go with the Heavyweights. I see them getting louder since you'll be able to throw a ton of power at them. They already seem to be doing you well. Have you metered the Level 4XL's yet? If so which was louder?

im pretty damn sure im goin with them and i have a plan for power for them next year :) I jus meterd my one XL it wasnt gettin shit for power when we clamped it but did 147 at 39hz.. then dropped the 2 heavyweights in and ran it at 2ohm and rose crazy high and did 600watts and burped at 148 @ 39hz then wired to .5ohm rising to 3.5 burping a 150.3 at 39hz and only 2700watts.. i need more power and lots of it

Yeah, I'm betting that if you at least double your power you'd see almost a 153 if not more. What do you have in mind for your electrical?

A 275A or 300A alt and a few more d3100
