Question on charging xspowerbatteries

do i have to charge it before i use it? i ust got it a couple of days ago. well, there was a lil manual instruction paper on the charging but i thought i'd asked because i know that when you purchase them at the store they are ready to use. i have a d2400 and d2700.

that piece of paper is added as a precaution because we have no idea how long our batteries will sit at a distributor (IE: Summit, Jegs, Motorstate, etc...) without being charged...

i reccomend checking the resting voltage of your battery before you install it, if voltage is above 12.7 then throw it in, if not then charge the batt just to be safe

i don't have a voltage meter reader whatever you call it. can i ust plug it in the charger and it will tell me?
