Hello everyone im new to this forum, and i have a few questions. I have to 2 15" Alpine type Rs, and I am wondering should i run an amp per sub or get one big amp for the both? I was leaning toward 2 alpine mrp 1000s, but im not sure if they will push them enough. I also thought about getting one AQ2200D for the both. Can you you guys help me out? Any info is appreciated!

Audiopipe ap1500.1d would match up pretty well with it, get 2 more 15s and get the AP3000.1d its 1500 rms at 1 ohm for the 1500...

The 3000 is a 2 channel, 1 ohm stable per channel for 1500 rms, or 2 ohms strapped for 3000 rms

check this out, a tad bit more power then what your looking for , but less money then 2 mrp 1000s and having some extra head room is a good thing

David is right, his amps would kick some major ass for the type Rs

OT, Still waiting for those cards bro :)

I had an Alpine MRPM1000

It gets burn you hot after barely playing bass, and its really expensive.

SUCCESS is a decision, NOT a dream. You have to name the price you are willing to pay to get it.

honestly i think the 2500.1 would be overkill for the subs.... they are rated at 750rms a piece...

dont get me wrong... from what i have read, the DAT amps are some of the best out there.... but for those subs i would say get the AQ2200d and turn the gain down... lol

oh and 1 larger amp is normally easier on your electrical system than 2 smaller ones....
