I have to 2 15" Alpine type Rs, and I am wondering should i run an amp per sub or get one big amp for the both? I was leaning toward 2 alpine mrp 1000s, but im not sure if they will push them enough. Rogers Posted July 11, 2009 Report Share Posted July 11, 2009 honestly i think the 2500.1 would be overkill for the subs.... they are rated at 750rms a piece... dont get me wrong... from what i have read, the DAT amps are some of the best out there.... but for those subs i would say get the AQ2200d and turn the gain down... lol oh and 1 larger amp is normally easier on your electrical system than 2 smaller ones....
