8 12s or 2 18s?

deff the 2 18's man if you dont mind me putting my .02 id go with eather dd or incrimatior audio depending on where you want your tuning dd for higher tuning and incrimator for lower (dont get me wrong fi are good subs)

Go with all those 12's. Thats a ton more cone area than 2 18's. and is you were getting 2 18's get BTLs

I'd say it depends on if you're willing to give up your seats etc. What are your goals? Wall? Backseat or no backseat? Want the 'OMG look at all the subs' affect? your amps? etc etc.

I like the 12s idea myself.
