brewer_brewer Posted July 15, 2009 Report Share Posted July 15, 2009 if you can get the hookup on stinger alts i would go with those over any of the other ones. they are way overpriced but are very reliable and produce all their power. other than that everyone i know that has a DC alternator is happy with them. i don't know anyone with a mechman but i know of 3 people personally who have had iraggi's and disliked them. bobonit Posted July 15, 2009 Report Share Posted July 15, 2009 I've done business with both DC Power and Mechman. I have a 250a alt from DC Power, nothing but love for this thing. I bought some Powermaster batteries from Mechman, free shipping if you tell him your from SMD. Robs (DC Power) customer service is the best there is. I haven't really had to call Mechman for help, but he was very nice to deal with over the phone. No complaints. I say either of those 2 companies will be good choices.
