I'm using a Corsair TX750 60A power supply. Since the amp is meant to take 90A, I'm only getting around 500wrms. Yes it does give out what it's rated for. (CEA-2006 compliant + made in thailand heh) I recently found a 10A Motomaster battery charger. So I'm thinking about getting a Kinetik HC800. It is sealed/non-spillable so I won't have to worry about it creating gas right? I won't be getting "900 watts rms" but maybe 700-800 for 15 minutes? Another option is getting a $40 30A power supply and paralleling it to my Corsair. Does anyone know if that would be a good idea? I've seen people wiring psu's together but never mixing two different kinds. Boon Posted July 16, 2009 Report Posted July 16, 2009 Your amp and your PSUs will likely be rather unhappy with 2 power supplies in parallel. Unless you had some crazy diode isolation going on. 10.x volts fo' life!
