zaxfire69
Around how many cubic feet should I try to squeeze in my trunk. Recommended is 3-4 Cu ft..Also what should I tune it to play really loud and low. There recommended is 33hz. Should I go lower or stay at 33 hz??..I Listen to alot of rap and bass cd's..That is why I ask...I am gearing up to order so I am just trying to cross the t's and dot the i's... Slinky
id say 33 hz would be fine. theres a reason they recommend that frequency. also how about goin in the middle and makin it 3.5 cubes. zaxfire69
I have plenty of room. What would be the difference in 3 cuft to 4 cuft..?? Very noticable?? Never had a ported box so I really wouldn't know..
Slinky
there would be a diff. if you can fit 4 cubes in your trunk, id go with that Quote DD M4 Rockford Fosgate P500-4 SoundQubed HDC415 w carbon fiber cap 2 Rockford Fosagate T1675-S XS Power D3400 Under Hood XS Power D5100 in rear Michael Singer 200A Alt Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/153901-2012-veloster-update-842013-wall-build-4-15s/
majorpayne
I wouldnt go with a 1206d simply because they dont like anything below 1 ohm. If the ssd's coils arelike my btl then a dual 2 will actually be a dual 1.4 and then the amp will see .7 after impedance rise you should be alright but i have been hearin alot of horror stories about people only gettin a year out of those amps. I wold run something like a ed 9.1 or a kicker zx1000, they are a little more expensive but are built like a tank compared to the 1206

Other than the Q is more expensive..
