8000watts Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 this morning b4 work, i made 2 mounting rings for my 6x9's in my rear dash (i think thats wat its called) in my 97 camry. b4 this, my speakers were just sitting in there because the mount from the stock speakers wouldnt fit the new 6x9's and there were no holes in the frame to drill the speakers into. so halfway through(only one speaker mounted), i left for work and realized that when b4 i turned the sub up, i have less bass from my 6x9 but its louder vocally, and when i turn up the sub, there's less rattling from my 6x9's(only hear it cuz 1's not mounted), and the bass is a lot louder!! personally, IM THE HELL HAPPY!! i realized that i was listenin to the music at a lower level then usual but i couldnt tell the difference! just wanted to share my happy with u guys...if u have n e questions, comments, or suggestions, please feel free!! :hairtrick:
EricR Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 sounds cool...but no pics?? i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?
