They dont make their rated power, and they often get warm or hot.

That being said, i would still run them.

For the price they work. you just have to keep in mind to get an amp that will do more than you need because most of them arent doing their full power. I had a friend run the gothic series amps, one was the 1000 watt monoblock, the other was the 800 watt 4 channel. The monoblock did about 700 watts at 1 ohm without getting too warm, and the 4 chan did about 50x4.

He paid 275 for both amps, new in box, so i think he got a good deal, i know he was happy.

Take the fusing on your amp, multiply it by 14.4, then multiply by 0.65 to 0.75 for power acoustik and you may get somewhere close...

Current Systems:

2011 BMW 335i

Hertz HDP1

DC LVL3 12" Full Carbon Fiber

2002 Acura Tl
Kenwood DNX9980HD
2 DCLVL4 12" Subs with LVL5 Parts D.7 Coils
DC 3.5k
Hertz HSK-165 up front HCX-165 Rear
Hertz HDP4 Amp
DC Power Engineering 260 Amp Alt
Big 3 and amp powered with KNU 1/0
XS Power D2400 Up Front

i pulled out my dick in class many of times and had it shown. get over it bitch...stupid open legged hairy beavered bitch...

going over rms = smaller box, under rms = bigger box...

Low voltage doesn't blow amps. That's a myth.

A router that does the sub holes makes rounded edges also?

The airbrushing on the box is sick as hell!

As for Power Acoustik;

I used to run a Gothic series amp in my Civic, I had it pushing two MTX Thunder 4400 12's and it slammed pretty damn good. I was very impressed considering the amp only costed me like $120 at the liquidation sale that comes around once a year or so.

i have the 5500 watt gothic series and i love it, it probably doesnt put out rated but it made 4 15inch cvxs bump it made 4 15in q powers hit even harder and now i am thinking about putting it on a 12inch dc audio lvl 4 with lvl 5 coils

i went and got it tested the other day and the head unit they put it on kept going out because it was drawing to much power so it has to be pretty nice if it pulls a lot of power and my amp is in the for sale section
