tlee2 Posted July 27, 2009 Report Posted July 27, 2009 when doing the engine block to chassis ground does it matter what part of the engine block you do it from? i dont know where my stock one is so i dont know where i should put it. bobonit Posted July 28, 2009 Report Posted July 28, 2009 The absolute best place to put it would be on one of the alternator mounting bolts. Other than that, anywhere on the block would be ok. Right now mine is on the intake manifold (it was easy to get to) but I'm going to move it to the alternator mount when I change out my belt, but thats just because I'm anal. 97 Maxima SE Bunch of shit going in, check out the build Build Log
Gotloud555 Posted July 28, 2009 Report Posted July 28, 2009 Just connect the wire the alternator bracket to chassis. That work great most of the time. Just make sure the wire don't end up touching the moving belt and use grommet.
